Brahm Nettles

Nettles, Brahm

My condolences go out to the Nettles family. I didn't know your young man but my girls didand it is a very hard thing to deal with I am sure!!!

anonamous - 9/24/2011

I am sorry for your loss. Your in my thoughts and prayers.

Bobbie Acosta - 9/24/2011

Brahm Nettles had a smile that could light up anyones day. I remember seeing the look on his face when he was boasting about his first buck. It was a exceptional as well!! He touched so many hearts that he is not aware of. I looked up to him, despite the fact that he was younger than me. All of his amazing attributes could fill up pages upon pages. As well as all of the great memories, good or bad, that he shared with his family and friends. Brahm will be remembered in every day of my life. He was a ray of sunshine. I will never forget the impact this boy had on my life. I wish I could say more, but I am at a loss with words and there is more to him than could ever be written on paper.

Nicole - 9/24/2011

Brahm is one of the coolest people I know. I miss him so much, he could make anybody's day, and he constantly made mine. This feels so unreal. He seemed so happy, and I find this completely unfair that he has to be gone. School is miserable, and lonely. I've never seen RMS this quiet. I wish he was here, and I miss him tons. The Nettles family are in my prayers, and I hope they're okay.

Brahm could always put a smile on someones face, and a happy thought in their head... We can't believe he is gone.. I wish I could turn back the clock and stop him.. This has impacted the whole 8th grade.. We sat for hours and hours crying... I wish I could see him one more time, hear his laugh, see his smile.. My favorite quote from him was 'I fell down' and the teacher would say 'your ten minutes late' he would always say back 'I fell down twice' We miss you so much brahm, we think about you all the time... We went your house and left roses and notes... We miss you so much... I want to see you one more time..

I'm really sorry for your family's loss. I wish I had the right words to comfort you. Please know that I have been praying for your family.

Missy Austin-Crump (JoAnn's daughter) - 9/26/2011

Brahm was a very bright young boy. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. He was so happy the last time that i had seen him, he had shot his animal and was laughing and smiling, he was only mad because he had dropped and cracked his ipod screen. Brahm you need to know that we all loved you very much and regardless of the reasons, unknown you are still loved, and always will be! we miss you hun

Bridgett Woolsey - 9/26/2011

Brahm you always had a quick smile and infectious laugh! Although we didn't get to spend as much time together as family should, we loved you very much and will miss you terribly! We hope you are in a better place, being watched over by those who went before you, while you wait for those yet to come. May God hold you close to his heart as we will surly do while we celebrate our memories of you!! Love you Brahm - you will forver be missed!

Heather (Bright) Brimer & Family - 9/26/2011

We have been praying for you since we heard. I can't begin to fathom the pain you are all going through and know deep in my heart that God is surrounding you and all of those whose lives were touched by Brahm. My daughter got close to Brahm at 4H camp this year and had become "hug buddies" in the hallway. She said she always made sure he got a hug from her. I doubt any words can console you during this time, but want you to know that his life meant so much to our little girl, and so many others in our community.

May God Bless you all in this time of grief.

Karlee & Joe Zach - 9/26/2011

Please know our hearts hurt for you - Brahm was a great young man and we are proud to have been associated with him. Thank you for sharing his presious personality with us. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Chandra, Denny and boys,
Our hearts go out to you in this time of GREAT loss. There are no words that can express how sad we feel. Please take comfort in the knowledge that Brahm is among family that has gone before him to make a place for him. Becky & Donald DuBry - Tabitha & Robert Viergutz (and boys) - Chloe, Traison and Falica DuBry - Trina, Mike (Zoller), Cordelle, Machenna, Kawlie and Guage Slinkard

Becky & Donald DuBry & family - 9/26/2011

One may not be comforted by words, but can find comfort in the love your friends, family, and the Lord present to you. Perhaps at this time it seems that no comfort or smile will ever grace your soul, but you will smile and feel the quiet love we are all giving you, eventually. An understanding of why is not always necessary, only the knowledge of Brahm's eternal peace.

Sheri Stinson Burke - 9/26/2011

Words at this time are not enough to fill the emptiness you are feeling. Brahm is now there always. Were ever you are he is there. Remember the love he had for his family and that he would want to pull you closer than apart. Let the warm smile and laughs that you shared fill the empty and grow to know that he is that sweet angel that hovers close and hears your voice, and listens to your pain…
"And if I go while you’re still here…
know that I live on, vibrating to a
different measure behind a thin
veil you cannot see through. You
will not see me so you must have
faith. I wait the time when we can
soar again, both aware of each
other. Until then, live your life to
its fullest, and when you need me
just whisper my name in your
heart…I will be there."

Brahm was the happiest people I knew. He could make anyones day just a little better. At Rms it is so quiet without him. It makes me so sad to think he will never walk those halls again. We all loved him and he will be missed by all. My prayers go out to the Nettles family.

To the family and friends of Brahm Nettles:

Remember him not for who he was at the end, but who he was when he was still him.

anonomyous - 9/27/2011

My heart is filled with sadness of the unfortunate and untimely death of your son. There are no words to describe the utter grief that I am feeling right now, and I cannot possibly imagine the shock and sorrow that has been thrust on your family as well. We can only say how much we will miss Brahm as well. No words can express how much a part of your life Brahm was, and will always be, we're sure, and be held in your heart forever. Brahm was a jewel among us, always giving us a shining example of kindness, caring, loving, and fun. During this difficult time for your family, I would like to extend a helping hand if you will have it. Please accept my sincerest condolences and know that I am here with you through it all if you need me.

Yours in mutual grief

A Friend - 9/27/2011

My heart goes out to Brahm's whole family. My Grandson Terrell Oldman was friends with Brahm and is having a hard time trying to understand Why this happened to his friend. I know from experience that right now no words can console you. I lost my only son 20 years ago and never a day goes by that I dont think about him. I keep praying for all of you to get through these last days with your boy. May God Bless and take care of all of you. In My Prayers Nettles Family!

IT HURTS SO MUCH TO KNOW
WE'LL NEVER SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN
WE'LL NEVER GIVE YOU HUGS
WE'LL NEVER TOUCH YOUR SKIN
WE'LL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHY
IT WAS SO HARD FOR YOU TO TRY
WE'LL NEVER HEAR YOUR VOICE
OR GET TO SAY GOODBYE
IT'S SO HARD JUST TO BEGIN
TO UNDERSTAND YOUR CHOICE
OH GOD WHAT I WOULD GIVE
TO HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE
LIFE'S SO HARD WITHOUT YOU
WE DID'NT HAVE A CLUE
ABOUT ALL THE PAIN THAT YOU WERE IN
SO UNHAPPY AND SO BLUE
GROWING UP IS ALWAYS HARD
FOR SOME, HARDER THAN OTHERS
BUT LIFE WILL BE EVEN HARDER NOW
FOR YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR BROTHERS
WE HAVE TO LIVE WITHOUT YOU
GO ON WITH EVERY DAY
AND KEEP YOUR MEMORY ALIVE WITH US
SO PAINFUL IN EVERY WAY
IT'S SO HARD TO SAY GOODBYE
I DON'T WANT TO EVEN TRY
I'M JEALOUS OF ALL THE ANGELS
CAUSE YOU'RE SITTING BY THEIR SIDE
WE'LL SEE YOU AGAIN IN HEAVEN
IT WON'T SEEM SOON ENOUGH
OH BRAHM, WHY'D YOU LEAVE US
LIFE WITHOUT YOU IS JUST TOO TOUGH

Chandra, Denny, Jared and Reed, please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers as the healing process begins. We all love Brahm and someday we will meet again. We love you all and know he is riding with all his might!

He rides towards the horizon,
Where each night the sunsets hide.
Black Stetson hat, callused hands,
On the white horse he calls Pride.

Tipping his hat without looking back-
To those he touched on this parade.
He holds his head high, lets out a sigh,
Watching a brilliant sunset fade.
And night comes on the wings of angels,
Calling a billion stars to his side.
Now we all join him on
The cowboy's final ride.

Even though it happens all the time. Death is still something that we will never get used to. It's just something we have to deal with because of the sin we inherited from our first parents Adam & Eve. (Romans 5:12) Rest assure that our loving heavenly Father promises that soon the dead will live again and also that one day death will be done away once and for all.
(Isaiah 26:19 and Isaiah 25:8). This is something I know everyone can look forward to. you have my heartfelt sympathies.

A. Jackson - 9/30/2011

Dear Brahmer,
The day you were born, your Grandpa called me and said "Chandra's in the hospital, the baby will be born today." I threw on my shoes, got in the car and took off. I'm certain my hair was not combed, nor by teeth brushed! I was still late getting there, your Grandpa already had you in his arms. I wasted no time taking you away from him! After a couple of minutes your Dad asked if he could hold you because he hadn't had a chance to!! We didn't know that we had snatched you before he had been able to hold you! That is the first of many times that you made me laugh!
Since then there have been many, many times - and there will be many more. Your wonderful smile, twinkling eyes, the silly pranks are premantly engraved in my heart! You will be with us always. Whenever I have to "climb" into a vehicle that is too high I know that you will be there holding the door and making sure I don't fall - just like always!
I LOVE YOU SO!
