CAROLE SMITH QUINN.
This is a letter from mom sent to you that we did not have time to read...
Dated October 27th, 2011
Dear Elwin,
Hope you are feeling better. The nice sunshine today makes one happier.
You were the smallest of my babies 6lbs and some few ounces. We slept in the cold bedrooms, I would warm your blankets well, wrap you up, and you would sleep all night. You was a tough little guy.
When the warm spring comes maybe April when the beautiful flowers begin to bloom I will come see you. I'm not feeling very well, my back is giving me trouble.
Be tough again, I love you Elwin

Dear Brother Elwin,
I so enjoyed visiting with you when you were still able to enjoy a little company. It was good to see you enjoying your favorite pie and ice cream.
I'm so sorry for the pain and sorrow you experienced the last few months.
May you rest in peace. Love you.
Your sister,
Sandra Smith Stewart

Dear Elwin,
I feel sadness for not being able to see you in the place you loved. But I feel happiness to know that I can one day see you again. Our family is a true family where love and support for each other was instilled in us as children. I remember your advice to me years ago as a teenager to be careful who I date. It meant alot then and now to know my older brother cared. I feel a void now at your death and will miss you very much.
I love you,
Jane
