Cheryl, I am so sorry for you and your family. My Prayers are with you.

Jim was an incredible man and will be missed terribly. He was always good to talk to. I was away from home and ran into him and seeing him helped to lift my spirits. To Cheryl and the kids, I am so sorry for your loss. He will not be forgotten. My condolences, thoughts, love, and prayers go out to you all.

I look back on how long I have known Jim, and I don't remember that I met him as much as he was always there since I was born. Growing up he was with my brothers Jimmy and Danny at T-ball through Babe Ruth. Pretty sure he dinked around at all the school concerts and plays while those of us that were younger looked on laughing at the antics. I just got harrassed by him Sunday at Safeway, pretty typical of ever single time I saw him. He asked about my family, smiled and commented, then we headed out the door. I am amazed that he is gone!

I will be praying for your family. I have looked up to Jim for seemingly ever! It was always with great joy he spoke of his family and then later his children. I can't begin to express my sorrow for your loss.

My heart goes out to all the family of Jim's letting you know that you are in my prayers. Jim was a great guy and he will be greatly missed.

Please know that your families are in our thoughts and prayers. I will miss Jim so much and when I remember him it will always be in English class with that sweet grin and the twinkle in his eye. I am so blessed to have gotten to visit with him at the reunion and also to see him last week. Rest in peace my friend, until we meet again!

Cheryl, I was so sorry to here this news. I loved working for Jim at Golden Correl and enjoyed your company as well. Jim will be missed by so many people including me. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I haven't lived in Riverton for years but the name Jim Pigg brings back lots of memories. I can't help but smile when I think of Jim. It was a blast playing Legion baseball with him. He always kept us laughing and you couldn't help but love his spunky personality. Sorry that he left us so early but I will always smile when I remember Jim!

My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family. It seems like we have known each other forever, so it feels as though a part of my family is gone. Jim was a great person and always had a kind word to say. He was an awesome boss to work for at Golden Corral and always shared those awesome leftover rolls after work!! I will miss his quick wit and fun smile. He will be missed by so many. Cheryl - you and Jim made my beginning work experience a fun memory. Thank you for sharing your children and time with me. Again, I am so thankful to have known such a wonderful man as Jim.

He was one of the nicest, most respective, funnest and funniest classmates that I had the privilege of growing up with, beginning with gradeschool. Every time I saw him, he had a comical but kind comment that followed with a grin and a giggle and I so much enjoyed the chance of running into him and laughing together............. I only wish I had told him. Jim is pain free now.

I went to high school with Jim. I will always remember what a friend he was to everyone. He had a great sense of humor. We saw him often at Golden Corral. My deepest sympathy to your family.

Jim I was sooo shocked to hear of your passing! I will always remember how much fun you were when all of us hung out. When I think of you, your truck always comes to mind. Man you loved that Ranger... and we could see it coming for miles! I even called it "Baby" because that is how you treated it!

I am so very sorry. I really liked Jimmy and have some fond memories of him. I remember playing little league baseball when we were like 7 years old. I was then so happy when he married my cousin, Cheryl. They created three wonderful children. He was a great guy, and I know that there are so many who really liked him a lot. Dear Cheryl and family,

As much as Jim spoke about you over the years while I was his dispatcher at Qwest, I feel as though I know you. I guess Jim loved baseball and now he was first to make it Home among those of us still remaining. I will always remember Jim’s sweet spirit and know that now he has even sweeter fellowship with the Lord.

Psalm 55 says that if we give our burdens to the Lord, he will sustain us. While we miss im in the physical, just imagine the joy we will all share when we meet him in Heaven. The one thing I told Jim all the time was that he was one of my favorite Piggs. So Jim, praise God and we’ll see you in Heaven soon.
