Tyler, Carolyn B.
Read her column in the Ranger for years, an example of what it takes to be a survivor!
Billie Jacoby - 7/11/2012To Family and Friends:
I will miss Carolyn. She was so fun and funny and had such a great sense of humor. I loved reading her column--always good for a chuckle. She was a reporter for our school board meetings, and did such a great job of capturing district information in an accurate way. One forgot she had a disability, as she never let it slow her down. She was truly a fighter and had a great spirit. May some of that spirit have rubbed off on all of us.
I remember once years ago hearing that we should imitate people who have passed on, and look at the good they have done, the holes that will be left, and pick up these holes and do good for our community as they did Carolyn definitely left a big hole to fill.
As you mourn her loss, may you be reminded of the joy she has right now running the streets of heaven, and I hope you hear her laughter one more time.
Heartfelt condolences to the family of my dear friend and mentor...Carolyn B. Tyler. May God comfort you during this difficult time.
Marilyn Dewey Drew - 7/12/2012I had read that Carolyn was ill but just now found out of her passing. She will be greatly missed. What a lady!! We, like so many other families in Fremont County have had the pleasure of Carolyn involved with our own familes in one way or another. There are no words to heal the pain in losing her, only know that she is at peace, no more pain, and will forever be in our hearts. Bless each and everyone of you.

And Thank you for being my spell check back in the day before spell check. Thank you for all your support when we were fighting to get Karah Davis a liver and you never balked at how much time I was spending on this little girl's project or you never rejected a story I submitted and there were hundreds!! Thank you for talking the talk and walking the walk when it came to keeping opinions on the editoral page and straight news on the news pages. You and hubby Bob were the greatest friends. I love you both!!
Linda, I am so sorry for your loss, as I know just how close you and your sister were!! I am praying for you and your families!!
Carolyn was the most loyal friend to our family for 50+ years. She was always interested in how you were doing truly loved each & everyone of our family. She wrote the most beautiful heartfelt story regarding my 5 year old son's passing that only Carolyn would be capable of putting her words on paper. She was truly gifted and will be greatly missed. May God help your family through this time of grief and bless you.

Carolyn will be missed greatly. When I saw her come into the School Board Meetings I knew the public would get a fair and unbiased report of what went on there. I admired her spunk and determination to live life to the fullest. Our prayers are with all of her family.

Wouldn't be wonderful if we all could have the amazing, positive attitude that Carolyn demonstrated. Did the have "rose-colored glasses" if so I want a pair. Her presence will be missed.
