Carroll A. Riggs

Riggs, Carroll A.

Dan and Kathy:

Missouri Valley will miss your father. He was a pillar of the community as was your mother. It is sad to see all the old timers leaving us.

Your Dad had such a kind and gentle spirit. I can remember waiting for my Dad while he was picking up seed at your place and visiting with Carroll. Of course I had your mother as my first grade teacher and she will always be special to me. Your family was a special family.

May your faith in God sustain you, bringing you comfort and courage and hope in your heart always.

Love and blessings,
Jane (Jarvis) Ferries and Family

RIP Mr. Riggs, please, tell my very good friend and classmate and your daughter Sue "HI" for me. Dan I am so sorry for your loss. May God bless you!

Dan-
Anyone who grew up in Fremont County in the 60's, knew of Carroll Riggs and his outstanding character. Your family was so respected in 4-H circles and as contributers of the community. Your parents left such a positive impact on the area. My sympathy to you in the loss of a great man and father.

It's a sad day for our family but we have many fond memories of visiting Wyoming and our family.

Woke up 2 mornings during this holiday season with mom at my house informing me of the loss of 2 Missouri Valley neighbors-first Bob Medow and now your father. I'll long have memories of you all as neighbors--coming down to help wash 4-H cattle (all black angus) watching you all show at the fair, buying seed from Mr. Riggs, waiving when Mr. Riggs drove by as we worked in the cattle pens or the fields. My sympathy to you all. He lived a good long life!
Sincerely

Karen Herbst - 1/2/2013

May his memory be eternal!

We are sorry for your loss. Were it not for Mother Nature, I would be there Monday in person. You know we are all there in spirit. My favorite uncle was a wonderful man. His dry sense of humor and eternally young at heart attitude have always endeared him to me and my family. I have so many stories I want to share but want to do that in person. We all lost a member of our family but he's at peace and will always be in our hearts.

Your in my thoughts and prayers.
