Pfisterer, Walter E.
We are so sorry to hear of Walt's passing. After working for Walt for 16 years, I considered him a true friend and gentleman. Walt always had a great sense of humor, a story to tell, and a wonderful smile. He will be missed by all.

I remember Walt from my childhood years in the late 1940's and early 1950's. He was a delightful person to be around with his humility and wonderful sense of humor. I do not recall an adult from my grade school years for whom I had more respect. He had a special insight into the mind of a young boy that made him made a delight to be around. Even today I can recall specific instances as if they occurred last week.
A wonderful man, may he rest in peace.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

Walter & Margaret Young Bintzler. - 2/19/2015For Walt's family,
Am sure you will all miss this man; a man of reserve who never seemed to miss an opportunity to swap stories or to extend a kindness. He and Gloria made quite a pair! He was so patient and loving as she became ill.
My dad knew Walt better than I, and always spoke well of him. Am sure they talked shop at some point about 'ordinance' experiences!
More personally, I recall how Walt and Gloria extended kindness and generosity to grankids and their friends.
Another of the 'great generation' gone to join the others...
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Walt was a favorite cousin!! He will be deeply missed.

Goodbye Grandpa Walt. You will be missed. Hope your reunion with Miss Gloria was spectacular. May the fishing be plentiful, the coffee pot always full and may there be many wonderful small children to find that secret piece of candy hiding in your shirt pocket.

Gary & Greg and family
Sorry on Walts passing. Remember when Gary was born and Walt and Gloria living in the basement of John & Mina's home. They were always great to visit with and yes Walt did like to tell stories and maybe drink a little B&B with my Dad.
