Elaine Mitchell - 3/14/2017It was always such a pleasure, and so enjoyable just to sit with you. It always produced a sweet giggle or two. Blessings to your family good sir. Much love.
Cat Erhart - 3/14/2017To all my Dad's friends,
Thank you for signing in and writing your kind words. If there are any stories you'd like to share - my brothers and I would love to read them. We know he was loved by many friends we never got to meet and would find joy in hearing a story about how you knew Murph.
Thank you again,
Jenny, Jeff and John
I have many fond memories of Jim, my ex-husband - from high school, his military days, our marriage, our trips, and of course hundreds with our children, Jennifer, Jeff and John. He was fond of my husband Rich and they had some good times together and I so appreciated Jim's attitude and interactions with Rich.
I was with the kids when he passed and am so very thankful his passing was peaceful and they were by his side. His mother Peggy, step-father Larry and sister Colleen were also able to spend time with Jim during his final days.
While in Riverton helping my children take care of his home/belongings, etc. I found that he had many, many friends. While Riverton isn't my cup of tea, it certainly was Jim's and I'm happy that he enjoyed his life there.
He had many SPECIAL friends - Strom, Henry, Debbie, Katie and Ed that were all so very good to him. I know there are others so please forgive me not listing everyone.
Rest in peace Jim. You will be missed.
Murph will be dearly missed by many, but most especially me. We shared some truly great experiences together, some of which might not be suitable for some of the more gentle souls among us. I will cherish the memories I have of the time I was able to spent him. I loved Murph, very much.
Pat
Love you always

I was initially shocked, adn of course saddened to her of Murph's passsing. When I was a young man, Murph and I were roomates for while. Time passed and we each went our own direction. I am sorry to say we did not stay in touch after his move to Riverton. I learned a lot of life lessons with Murph and from Murph. But most importantly, we were friends. To Sue, Jennifer, Jeff and John, and the rest of the Murphy clan, my heartfelt condolences. Murph, God Bless and godspeed. Keep an eye on us all until we get there.
Randall Nelson - 3/18/2017Jennifer,Jeff,John,my deepest condolences for the loss of your father. He was a true friend to do many.He was like a brother to me and the stories he had were second to none one.I am so fortunate to had known him for so long.RIP Brother Murph.
Gary a.Roe - 3/18/2017My condolences to Jim's family and friends. Jim and I were high school buddies and were close til the late '70s. I moved to New York with my young family and we just lost touch. I always thought we'd cross paths again, and we will, just not a time of our choosing. Jim, say hi to Scoot and Rassett, and save me a stool.
Rest in peace my friend.
