Robert 'Bob' Crippen

Crippen, Robert "Bob"

Robert was one of the best neighbors we've ever had. He always made sure that our family was okay and always kept an eye on our house when we went on vacation. Every day he would come over and talk to us about something new and we never got tired of it. He came over to help us with our lawn mower cause we couldn't get it to work and he gave us a couple tips on how to start it, when he couldn't get it started he said he'd be right back. He went and grabbed his own lawn mower and told us to just bring it back when we were done. But that wasn't the first time he let someone barrow his things. He was a good neighbor to everyone around us. It's gonna be sad going outside and not seeing him working on his yard every day. I know that was his favorite thing to do. He will truly be missed by his neighbors at 214 E Madison.??

Had a lot of great times with Robert, both in - and outside - the weight room. To have Robert as a friend was to know what friendship was all about. I'm sorry that I did not hear of his passing until after his service.

I grew up with bobby . I am his brother nick, we had it hard growing up in santa cruz ,ca . but my mom keep it all together for all 7 of us. we lost nino first then mom, charlene then bobby. i know that he was a good man and loved his family more than anything in the world. he will be missed. i'm not sure if he talked to people about his childhood but i would be the first to say it was rough. he got out and made a life for himself for that he should be commended . he was my brother and i will miss him .

I wish you well in the hereafter. Robert worked for me several years @ Pertech. He was always a happy go lucky fellow, hard worker and enjoyable to be around. I was sorry to hear of his passing and didn't know that he had cancer. He always told me he didn't ever plan on retiring.
