Bob & Janice Woodward - 11/16/2017Rusty's family & friends are going to miss that guy! Having known him from decades ago thru 4-H activities and county fair, he remained true to himself, never really changing over the years. Even if disgruntled about something, a joke or a funny story was always waiting in the wings to be shared. A conversation with Rusty nearly always ended with a smile, laughter and a "See ya' next time!" wave.
A colorful character gone too soon. Enjoy the memories...

Just heard about Rusty. I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers to all of you.
This is heartbreaking news for so many. Rusty was/is a beloved friend from high school. Lander was such a fun and exciting time mid 60's as it was transitioning from a sleepy little cowboy town to a thriving boom town by the early 70's. Geneva Steele opened the mine in Atlantic City, and NOLS discovered the Wind Rivers!
Rusty, I will miss your always freindly smile, big 'stasche' and genuine big heart.
Peace to your family,
Lonnie Burton
