My heart goes out to all. It is so hard to lose someone as special as Kathi. She was a dynamo.

So sorry to hear of Kathi's passing - she seemed bullet-proof in the many endeavors she undertook with an interesting mixture of grit and grace. Watched 1st hand how she could "make a silk purse out of a sow's ear" - doing damage control with a smile on her face (and a soft snarl indicative of her human side). Her humorous sarcasm was legion - it's how she coped in an imperfect world. RIP Kathi - you've earned your spurs.

Condolences to the family of Kathi, we used to play a lot while we all lived out of Pavillion on the farm. Happy memories.

I have very fond memories of the Metzler family, from pancake dinners to checking out arrowhead collections after. Sending heartfelt hugs and thoughts to the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Kathi's passing. She was a wonderful lady and I pray that you all will find peace during this time. She was one of a kind.

Kathi’s years of dedication as a Volunteer Firefighter in the Community left a mark. I remember when she use to manage the registration for the Mid-Winter Fire School and always did a great job for us. Her method and approach in everything she did was remarkable. Sorry for your lost of your daughter, mother, grandma and aunt. My deepest sympathy to Sue and Wayne, Kristi and Randy, Joe and Cynthia, John and Missy. Kathy will be missed very much from the Riverton and Shoshoni community. As the first female volunteer firefighter. RIP Kathy Sue Wilson Metzler.

My heart was so sad when I heard of Kathi's passing. She had so much gumption we expected her to continue to conquer all.
I loved how real Kathi was and her humorous approach to life's challenges.

When my mother passed away, we found the resurrection hope very comforting.
May the resurrection hope sustain you. A loved one lost can grieve the heart, and makes us yearn for tomorrow, when Jehovah will keep the promise he made of no pain, no death, no sorrow found at Revelation 21:4.

Our hearts go out to each person that Kathi's life touched. We know losing her will leave a huge hole in so many lives. Our prayers continue for all her family and our dear fire sister Kristi.

We we shocked to learn of Kathi’s illness and passing. Steve and I have many fond memories of playing with Kathi and Kristi, including the red rover incident that resulted in Kristi breaking her wrist while being babysat at your house.
