Carolyn and family,

I extend my heartfelt condolences and prayers for comfort and strength. Bill was a legend to me and many other McDonough Troop 62 boy scouts. I idolized his courage, tenacity, and independence. I was blessed to have hiked with him once and to have visited him and your family in Dubois, Wyoming. I know these words are fleeting, but please know Bill left a lasting positive impression on a younger version of me. Yours truly, Andy Welch.

There's no way I can express how sad I am for your loss. Although Bill and I only spent a few years together in college  I am definitely a better person from having him as a friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Louis & Sherri Hildebrand - 4/27/2024

So sorry for the loss of Bill,   He  and I just had a long conversation last week. If anyone was ready to meet their maker, Bill certainly was. He was a solid guy! I'm so glad that he and I re-connected these last few years. He was one of those Freinds that even if you didn't see or talk to for extended lengths, we would just always pick right back up as if we had seen each other the day before. Love, prayers and hugs to the family! 🙏

Carolyn and Family of Bill,

I am so very sorry to hear of Bill's passing.

I rode horseback with him one time at Warm River Ranch. He told me "If not for you (Carolyn) he might have ended up in some gutter."

I will remember him and you in my prayers.

We are all very sad for Allison, Eddie and the entire family for the loss of Bill Copeland.  This is a lovely tribute and a wonderful way for all of us at the agency to know the kind of person he was.

Ausband Chapman Insurance - 4/29/2024

Caroline, Lindsey and Riley, I am very very saddened by the news of the passing of your Husband, Father and best  friend, Caroline. I remember you and Bill coming to Dubois and the look on his face when I would come squelling into your driveway with my latest veterinary emergency and he was always so kind and calm about whatever it was that had me in an uproar this "time." I was usually almost in tears because I didn't know if I had a Pomeranian that I thought was shot in the neck and was oozing with the pain of the pellet still in there! Lol which you almost had to give me a shot of rompom to get me to settle down and not the little 5lb dog, WHO w wasn't even upset! Because she had a grub in her neck from sticking her nosey fat head in rabbit holes and a blow fly had burrowed into her neck and it had turned into a big ole grub in her neck and that's where I come into the picture and panicked and you gave her a shot and cut her a little bit and then squeezed it out gently so it didn't pop inside her neck and I was just fine also! But you were 8 month's and 27 days pregnant with Lindsey and Bill said go ahead I have faith in you but promise me that you will not let this horse get you down and we didn't, you will never know how much you have meant to everyone involved when Zeke colliced and you did everything humanly possible made every phone call you could think of to save him and then you put him down the most humane way you possibly could ever have done! And now I read that you have lost Bill and it seems way too soon! it seems like I was just driving by the first place I ever saw you two at beeping the horn and you both were waving like crazy at me! But I guess that was 30 years ago and time sure gets away from you when you're not paying attention! Hey I'm just reaching out because I want the family to know my heart hurts for all of you and I'm sending all my love and my deepest condolences and prayers for you all to be able to grieve with each other in the Lords strength!
