Karen Johnson - 10/17/2024I am truly sorry for your loss! Mrs. Albrandt was one of my favorite teachers and friends! She will be dearly missed!
Stephanie Joy - 10/17/2024Karen was a caring and loving lady. She will be greatly missed.
Kathy Matoon - 10/17/2024Karen and I were next door neighbors at Jefferson for a few years, and we quickly established our love of all things Norwegian. My husband taught in Shoshoni so knew Gary, of course . They will both be missed. My sympathies to her family.
Karyn Ervin - 10/17/2024Karen was my mentor during my student teaching at Jefferson Elementary. She was always so kind and encouraging. She was friendly to everyone and had a great sense of humor. Thank you Karen, for being an excellent role model.
Laurie Kornder Pfarr - 10/17/2024I went to high school with Karen, and played in the RHS band with her. She was a very kind person. When my husband, Bob, passed she contacted my via Messenger/faceboook. That meant a lot to me. My sincere sympathy to all of her family and to those who were close friends of hers for so many years.

Vicky Williams - 10/18/2024Karen touched so many lives in a positive way. She will be missed. RIP my friend.
Herman & Gina Blumenshine - 10/18/2024I met Karen in First Grade when we were in Mrs. Kennedy's class at Ashrgrove. She lived one block away. I remember her parents always welcoming Karen's friends for snacks and sleepovers. Her mother was one of my 4-H leaders. Karen's brother Dick had developmental issues and the family fought hard to make sure he and others like him had opportunities in the schools. That may have set the stage for Karen to become a teacher--a profession that she loved.
Karen and her husband, Gary, were civic minded and donated many hours to the Lions Club and other activities.
I know many people will miss Karen, especially her friend, Gretchen, and her family. I wish them comfort in their many memories.
Godspeed, Karen. I'm sure Dick and Gary welcomed you to heaven.
