McFarland, Kathleen "Kathy"

Kathy was a truly amazing woman.   Her love of the Lord was evident in everything she did.   I was lucky enough to knwo Kathy because of her husband Scott.   Between Scott and Kathy they demonstrated what true love was and what life was supposed to be about.  I am saddened that she will not be spending more years with her family, but also know she is out of pain and in the arms of Jesus.   

My thoughts and prayers go to the entire family and especially Scott and the boys.   I love you all.

Kathy was such a light in the school district. Always so pleasant to be around. We thought the world of her. Such a joyful person!  She was always so supportive & kind. Our prayers are with your family.

There is a verse in an old song that for me epitomizes Kathy " I love you, Lord and I lift my voice. May it be a sweet sweet sound in your ears." She was a blessing.

Kathy was a ray of sunshine!  She and Scott were a gift to this community.  She took care of her little passengers with love and joy!  Each one was special.  We will all miss that beautiful smile!

Our deepest condolences to Scott, Steve, Seth, Josh, Scott, Ian and their beautiful families. We first met Kathy at Steve and Tolly's wedding rehersal over 34 years ago. My how time flies.

Kathy's smile and warmth was evident from day one and will be remembered fondly. In our limited meetings over the years Kathy was always loving and attentive and glowed with positivity. She made you feel better about yourself and helped you to be a better person no matter how long or short your interaction with her was.

Her legacy of love and devotion will continue always through her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. May comfort and peace be with you all.

Kathy was a woman in Riverton that exemplified the love of Jesus! She was always kind and her smile sincere. As a young girl, I remember hoping that I'd one day be as an amazing woman as she was! Proverbs 31 describes who she was and it's evident through her family and all the lives she touched!

Scott and family, please know you are in my prayers. I'm sorry. 😞 We all know where our loved ones are when they leave this earth but it doesn't make it easy. May Gods peace that surpasses all understanding envelop all of you. 

Kathy was the model of love, compassion, and generosity.  People like Kathy make our lives better  just for having known her.

What an amazing Christian friend.  From our parties at Ashgrove,celebrating birthdays together, special Bible Studies , and helping her clean out her mother's home after her passing. The love she had for everyone radiated from her smile.  She is now loving on those who greeted her at Jesus' feet.

I am so sorry to hear of Kathy's passing. I have such fond memories of the entire McFarland family and what a great example of a truly loving family you exemplify. I feel so fortunate to have been able to spend time with Kathy and her beautiful smile. Sending love and light to you all. 

Kathy was the sweetest and most genuine woman I had ever met. From fellowshipping to family gatherings. She was always there for myself and my family in our time of need. Rest easy.

She will be greatly missed. I'll never forget the days of my childhood to see and feel genuine love and care. She was a pillar of strength in the times of losing my brother and mother. ❤️ our prayers and condolences to the entire McFarland family from the Surat family.

Kathy was always in my balcony cheering me on as we both trusted Jesus. I am so very thankful for her friendship that was filled with love. I am a life that was changed because God saw fit to give me moments of time listening to Kathy, sharing life with her while we lived in Wyoming and receiving from her smiles of tenderness and hope. 
I am thankful she rests with Jesus now. His spirit in her was evident and always encouraging. Galatians 2:20 It is no longer I who lives but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

I am so sorry to hear of Kathy's illness and passing.  I loved working with her at FSCD #25, she always did an excellent job when subbing for me at the elementary school.  She was a very special lady (my family and I appreciated her and loved her homemade chicken & noodles with mashed potatoes she brought after my surgery). I will always remember her kindness and will miss seeing her beautiful smiling face in the community.  Prayers to her family for peace and comfort in knowing she is no longer in any pain. 🙏

When thinking of Kathy, you can't help but smile. Her smile was always shining forth, her character was beyond ordinary, but a woman of God, she was the best example of the love of Jesus, as she was such a loving woman, who loved her family, friends,  welcomed people she didn't know, helped others in that love, she was a treasure and a friend, a sister in Yeshua for me. She was always kind and genuine. The community has lost a true gem and woman of God.

May you each be comforted during this time and in the days and years ahead, but may you also find peace in knowing full well you will see her again, we aĺl will.  I'm so grateful for that truth. 

I can't remember any encounter or conversation that I had with Kathy that I didn't laugh and smile. She had the sweetest spirit and her giggle and smile were so contagious! Her love for Jesus was Precious...she treasured Him! Her favorite flower was the daisy, because they were "such a happy flower". I will never forget the time I was able to spend with her and her family. Scott, Steve, Seth, Josh, Scotty, Ian and all your beautiful families; my heart breaks for each of you and the pain you carry missing your wife and Mom, but we have this assurance of where she is now and while we cry here for the loss, we also rejoice in her gain. I love you all and am sending you hugs and prayers for comfort and peace during these this difficult time.
