Parkhurst, Vannis "Van"

To the family and friends of Van you all are in our thoughts and prayers. 

Noreen I am so sorry to hear of  Vans passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you. please take care. 

Praying that you are resting and in a better place. You have left a great presence in our lives. You have instilled many life lessons in my upbringing. You and grandma took us on journeys many kids would've loved to have went as kids. You took us to the cabin and taught us how to snowmobile and fish on Jenny Lake. You are a true inspiration of how a man had an unwavering love for his wife and family. You will be truly missed and you lived a blessed and fulfilled life and I will remember you for always in my heart. Love you Grandpa Van!!! ♥️Kara

We are so sorry for your loss. And my mother Doris wants me to tell Noreen that she loves her so much! And that working for you both was so wonderful. You both were so good to her. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Noreen, Dale, and Parkhurst families, Sorry to learn of Vans passing. He was a friend and customer of mine. Van rented his pasture to me but would never take any money for it! Guess I kept it up to his standards. I will miss our visits and fun conversations. Rest in peace Mr. Parkhurst.

I remember Van (and Noreen) as kind,  friendly neighbors on Valley Circle. I'm so very sorry for your loss,  and we pray your family will be comforted by all the treasured memories you share.

Dear Noreen, Paul, Dale and families,

I am so saddened to hear of uncle Van's passing.  I have so many fond memories of the many great times I had growing up when my sister and I  spent weeks in the summers visiting Noreen and Van.  He loved to play practical jokes on us and always found time to take us fishing and water skiing on Boysen lake.  Visiting them at the cabin was always a special treat.  He was generous to a fault.  It was always contest to see who would pay for dinners out and he almost always won!!  I will miss him tremendously.  My Prayers are with you and your family, Noreen.  I love you all very much.  Sharon

Dear Noreen and family,

Our parents, Chuck and Charlotte Downey, shared so many happy times with you and Van.  As we learned of his passing, we shared many of our memories of those ‘good old days’ of pinochle parties, dancing at events, ice cream socials, and fun practical jokes— such great loving friends.  We send our collective condolences, as well as the joy from our fond memories, and admiration for the 'love of life' you and Van instilled in all of us.
