Mantle, Grace Ann
Hi Lonnie and all the family;
We are so sorry to hear about Grace. Our thought's are with you. Seems like so long ago when we were all living out by Hudson, and I guess it was. We had a lot of good times together. Grace was a wonderful person, who could get along with everybody; and she did a good job with her family.And with everything that she did. I know she will be missed daily. I was glad to see that she will still on the ranch with all of you. Our sincere sympathy's--Rich and Wanda Eckhardt
I am so sorry about the loss of Grace Mantle. Grace was certainly a wonderful person, she was the best friend, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, or whatever she was, the absolute best. I know that Lonnie, and her family were most important to her, Grace was a very hard worker and there with a helping hand whenever she was needed. Grace was easy to visit with, as well as interesting and enjoyable. I will always remember Grace and that she was a special person to me, even if I never visited with her a lot, I looked up to Grace and loved her very much. In my sympathy and love to you all, you are in my prayers and may you feel God's presence with peace and sincereity through these very difficult days. jeannie portlock - 7/29/2007So sorry to hear of Mrs. Mantles passing-mom told me Saturday as I was headed to Springfield, IL to watch friends rope on one of my horses in National HS Rodeo finals.
I will always remember taking our horses to the Mantles for shoeing each spring before we started branding and moving cattle to the mountains. Mrs. Mantle was always so friendly and made you feel right at home and always a treat or good eats to offer you with a cold drink.
Sincere wishes to all your family.
Lonnie and family,
I am sorry to hear about your loss. Grace was a wonderful person. I am greatful for the wisdom she shared, the memories, and the time spent around Grace as child. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Kail, Mickey, Darlene, and Lonnie,
I was so sorry to hear about Grace's passing. What a great name for a great lady, Grace. She was my 4-H cooking leader many years ago, and introduced country kids to cooking with wine. She also emphasized that living on a farm in a desert need not make women feel like they should neglect themselves. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Juanita (Denke) Mair
Grace Mantle was one of the most gracious women that I have ever met.
It has been a pleasure knowing her, though my contact with her was not often. I have often told the men that when they pass my casket, I want them to say, "She was a good cook." Grace Mantle was a good cook. The pies she served at coffee break years ago to my family were raved about when they returned from having horses shod. Her caring and concern for everyone will be remembered by many. Your loss is great!
Sincerely,
Lois Herbst
Please know our thoughts are with you during these difficult days. We'll always remember Grace for the way she lived, the way she cooked, and her wonderful, old-fashioned, never-quit toughness.
She will be missed!
