We were so saddened to hear of your mother's passing. Please know that you and your family are in our daily prayers. She was always so proud of you.
Just heard from one our classmates that Sammie had gotten killed on Sunday. I am very sorry to hear about her. Have known her since 7th Grade. She was a great person to all. With a death this time of the year is very hard since Christmas just around the corner, I know that personally. Keep your heads up, think of her during this time and all the memories she left to you all. Extend my condolences to all the Cox/Hill families.

I had the wonderful Opportunity to work with Sammie at CES for the few years that I was there. What a wonderful individual and such a giving heart. She was always so proud of her beautiful children and grandchildren. She always carried a smile and was quick to make all feel welcome. She will truly be missed by so many in our community and I'm sure by all the CES community in which she was such a valuable member. We will be praying for your family during your time of loss, but know that God welcomed home one of his special children with open arms. God Blessed her by taking her home. I'm sure there is a great reunion there as well!

Darlene Keldsen - 12/2/2010I am so sorry to hear of Sammie's death--I remember her from school. --I think she was in my older sisters class. She was always really good to the "little" kids. My sympathy for her family and friends.
Beth Leonhardt - 12/2/2010I was very sorry to learn of Sammie's death. We worked together back in the early 1980's at Hettinger & Leedy, an attorney's office. She was a great person and we saw each other off and on over the "years" at stores and would laugh and talk. She was so much fun to be around and I know you will all miss her greatly. Both my father and sister were killed in separate car accidents and it is so hard to accept, I send you power over the next months to deal with the sadness and pain. Karen Mitchell

We hardly know what to say. We've had problems just breathing since we got the news of Sammie's passing. Sammie was such a dear friend to all of us! Jon pastored Sammie and her family the entire 6 years we were at Sunnyside; she always had "sweet-tart bunnies" in her purse for our daughter Joy, and she often had all of our children to her house to spend the night, play with Afton and A.J., or whatever! She also served us lots of meals! She was such a good friend and her spontaneous ways were so good for my more reserved personality. I will never forget our trip to Salt Lake City for her birthday when we saw the Neil Diamond concert and did all of our Christmas shopping before returning home the next day! We spent lots of time watching "chic flics" too! I treasure all of my memories with her. My heart is so heavy with the passing of my dear friend. We are all praying for the family as they try to make sense of this loss. We love you all!!!

One my first day of training i was intruduced to Sammie the "Office God" and i know that she will be very much missed. She was who you first met upon entering the office and she was a great first impression to the company. I know I will miss her and always have warm thoughts of her upon entering the building.I'm glad to know that she is on our side and up helping us. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
Duffy Glasgow - 12/3/2010Undeniably, Sammie was the face of CES; the first person you see when you walk through the door, and that one person you could count on to ask about how your day was going, or simply to visit with. Although she teasingly referred to me as 'the infant' and was not above throwing office supplies at me when I got out of line, she took on the self-assigned role of my 'fake mom' seriously, and was a true friend. My heart goes out to her family, as the world lost a truly amazing woman with Sammie's passing.
